What Does It Mean for a Grave to Have Water in It?
my dad died last year.
when we were putting him in his grave there was a lot of water in it.
so the funeral guy used his bulldozer machine and dropped some dirt in the grave and took it back out.
in a while more water just came up in the grave.
so we had no choice and we put him in grave with the water.
the casket was just floating.
i would just like to know what that means? what does it mean for a grave to have water in it?
thank you all in advance!

It means the cemetery is near a source of water like a busted pipeline or a natural watershed (like in lakes, except smaller, similar to the construction of wells, except this one isn’t deep). It could also possibly be an underground current.
Had it been raining or perhaps the land was a swamp at sometime,or just plain old seepage it doesn’t mean more than the soil was water logged.Your dads at peace only his shell was in the casket, don’t think of him lying in water think of when you seen him at his happiest.
Sorry for your lose. A high water table would cause this to happen.
