We Have Dirt in Our Yard From Putting a New Pool In?
its about the size of a small hill. there is no way a bobcat can get in our yard, anyone have any idea who we could call to remove the dirt out of our yard? or what we can use, because shoveling at our age isnt in the agenda ..

Call the installer; they likely have names of someone that can remove it. You could also place an ad for free dirt.
u can call me at 586 420 0521. i have a landscaping company.i can take care of that for u.
greenjoe.com says, instead of getting rid of it, you could use it for some other purpose. namely, to build a wall, fence or small structure. how? there are lots of "green" building techniques that could transform your dirt into a durable building material. Try contacting a local green builder that has skill working in "adobe", "compressed earth block" or "mudbrick". you can search for those terms on wikipedia.com or google.com to get more info.
Or…..if it is good soil, you could place an ad or put up signs on the weekend, like how yardsale people do, advertising for "free soil for planting" or some such ad, specifying they would have to bag it up themselves. You could also call a landscaping company and ask if they would like some free soil for landscaping with.
some of our leftover dirt went to constructing a ‘berm’ about four ft wide and two ft high… that got planted with shrubs and flowers and became a ‘screen’ between us and neighbors…. you could do the same!… cover it with mulch and there ya go….see?..

other deal would be leave it and spread it out, enclose with stone and call it a raised bed…..plant pretty stuff there….
