This only makes up for a fraction of my disappointment after that chatterbox

Deere probably will never live down that dumb ass chatterbox waste of money. The 944K looks real sharp. It is hard to believe the same company came up with it and the other good equipment.

… ya think they pay people to sit in the audience and go WOW! WOOW! ? cause that chick sounds so out of place i think i’d have turned the camera on her and just stared.

Jeez, Deere made such a big fancy deal out of this you’d think they had Optimus Prime under there, LOL!

That hitachi in the background makes that deere loader look small. Or did hitachi make that loader also and deere just put their name on it like their excavators.

@looseknot706 Designed and built at their plant in Dubuque, Iowa. Nothing to do with Hitachi. I know because my father-in-law was one of the lead designers and the head of the whole project to build/test the beast. He is at the show this week as well and gets to “dig in the dirt” with the 944K this summer.

I think John Deere makes the best Loaders on earth. Well, except (of course) for Volvo, Caterpillar, Kamat’su, Kawasaki, JCB and Case, they make better loaders.

I want that god damn TV in my living room, but it would take that loader to get it home

You were front and center that morning. I was standing on the 644K. Haven’t had a chance to edit my video of the unveiling, but I did post my interview with John Chesterman, product manager for Deere loaders. He explains why this thing is expected to cut fuel consumption by 30%.

Nice concept….it may cut fuel cost by 30% but what will the price increase be? 130%?? If it is too good to be true….it is.
