@BradyHill1 yea they are like 4′x8′ mats. work pretty good.

@letsdig18 i don’t have anything small enough to use those with, maybe lay them down and i could drive the pickup over them……

@BradyHill1 they were made out of a bigger mat. I think a 8×12′… nothing a chainsaw won’t fix.

@letsdig18 my mats are 4′ wide and the length fills up the well in the lowboy

@BradyHill1 yeah the ones I have for the big machines are 4′x16′

I tried the 4′x20′ ones but they break. All 8×8″ timbers

good old swamp mats…1997 we first heard about them, somebody brought some up from louisianna and now there are literally “millions” of them used in the canadian oilpatch…nice skill btw

@CDNcatskinner Yeah they are some good things, better then using logs. we have some but 4′x16′ ones for the big machines. You can go in some bad ass places on them.

Did you build or buy the mud mats? If you built them, what did you use? Thanks!

Sure looks like a Ford, and what’s wrong with that.. I’m sure the guy don’t want to break down all the time….. I am surprised your not useing a dually. I get upwards of 10,000 or so with my 18f tandem axle and I have to watch she starts pushing. I have an 08 crewcab, srw. Miss my dually sometimes……Not going up hills however..
