Mini Digger Training Volks Electric Railway Windy Day With Glyn Davies

Glyn Davies from All Southern Site Safety Training Ltd. 07860 774780 showing those of you (on a very blustery day – sorry for the sound quality but the wind was so strong across the microphone) who are interested in finding out what it is like to get involved in becoming skilled at driving a mini digger. The clip shows complete novice Barry, the Engineer from the Volks Railway at the end of the weeks course with the Instructor Glyn Davies watching every move. In this chapter you will see Barry load up the tipper wagon which is towed by the Simplex Diesel supplied by Allan Keef in one of the tests. It was a very cold and windy day in January 2008 with the wind howling across the microphone.I am sure you will agree that Barry has mastered the skills very well with no mistakes at all. Glyn Davies can be contacted for training on Brighton 01273-541559

As well as training, don’t forget to use as many long words, and as many simple comments as possible.

Glyn Davies the instructor from All Southern Site Safety Training, is in fluorescent yellow coat as the railway has closed for the winter. The video makes it look green as you say.

1st thing digger is not level before testing levels, 2nd digger not level before slewing at almost full reach , 3rd what a load of crap

thanx for uploading, but does Barry know this has been uploaded, because some of his methods seem a bit ‘dodgey’….levels, slewing as mentionned already and carrying those sleepers like that – can be done, and we’d all probably do something similar out on site as a quick fix , but it makes the machine VERY unstable with all that weight out at full reach and doesn’t strike me as something that should be taught to a novice…if he does that with a 15t machine it could get very messy very quick.
