Home Building Costs.?

Hello, i am currently look into building a Log home, i have the floor plan picked out and i’m working on budget, is it possible to "DIY" Basement foundation? What is the ball park contractor money figure for a 1700 square foot house’s foundation with a 27′ X 50′ foot print. I have equipment (excavator) but my worry is the pouring concrete. Thanks for your time.

    1000 dollars per 100 foot

    so 1700 sq ft = 17000 dollars

    generally

    even if you dig your own hole and back fill it they usually charge the same

    if you feel real froggy you can pour your own we have but be prepared for mistakes and frustration – if contracted any mistakes are their fault

    the parentals said never again
